This moment at Cascade Falls was truly something special. Located in the heart of Prince William Sound, this waterfall is a stunning sight as it tumbles down the rugged, green cliffs and empties directly into the sea. I was able to get a clear view of the water rushing over the rocks, with the jagged, snow-dusted peaks of the Chugach Mountains towering in the background.
Prince William Sound is known for its dramatic fjords and tidewater glaciers, and Cascade Falls is one of those hidden gems that makes exploring this region so rewarding. The contrast between the lush, dense forest and the white, foaming water is incredible. Being out on the water and seeing this from the boat gives you a real sense of the scale and power of the Alaskan wilderness. Whether you’re navigating through the mist or enjoying a rare sunny day in the sound, the views here are always world-class.
